Mistaken Identity

Tower Bridge, in London, is not the famous London Bridge.  It was completed in 1894 at a cost of £1,184,000 (£118 million – 2014), taking 432 construction workers just 8 years. The bridge spans the Thames River and is 1,000 feet long, with an average of 40,000 passengers crossing daily.  It’s 2 bascules are raised approximately 1,000 times per year with no charge for vessels passing under.
